Animals have been used in the past, (and still today), to carry possessions or people. I love the idea of capturing animals, with some commonality. A Donkey was one of the main transport used in countries such as the Middle East and South America, and a Pigeon (a bird related to a Dove) is a creature used to carry messages and has been used for centuries.
